Dictyostelium discoideum
 cDNA Project

In 1996, "Dictyostelium cDNA Project in Japan" started structural and functional analyses of whole expressed genes in Dictyostelium discoideum at various stages of its life cycle. This project is supported by several grants from Japanese government, and also by volunteering works by researchers in the Project team. All sequencing results obtained are publicized so that they can contribute to the progress of Dicty researches.
